Thank you for your interest in enrolling in the Innovative Agriculture and Marketing Partnership (IAMP).
This Phase-1 application is a nonbinding expression of interest in participating in the IAMP project as a cropland and/or cattle producer. Selected applicants must fulfill minimum eligibility requirements outlined in the application and intend to commit to applying one or more of the following Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Climate Smart practices on the specified acreage for a multi-year period:
Applicants can enroll individual fields, portions of fields, or multiple parcels of land within the program, provided that the intended parcels are in Idaho and are not already receiving monetary incentives from other federal programs for the implemented practices. The project aims to accommodate as many eligible applicants as possible, if not all applicants can be enrolled applications will be screened to fulfill project goals based on the following selection criteria (not in order of importance):
Applications will be evaluated based on eligibility criteria, and selected applicants will be contacted to advance through the second phase application and development of a contract with the help of a project partner. To meet project enrollment objectives, annual incentive payment limits or acreage caps might be imposed, which may vary by selected partner.
Cattle owners interested in prescribed grazing need to complete the Grazing Application. Land utilized for prescribed grazing must be enrolled in at least one additional Climate Smart practice. Subsequently, the cropland producer enrolling land in prescribed grazing needs to complete the Cropland Application. If the cattle owner and cropland producer are the same entity, both applications need to be completed.
All cropland producers need to complete the Cropland Application.
